The Student Organization Resource Center (SORC, pronounced like “source“) is a resource center provided by University Life Arlington for registered student organizations, formal working groups, and other Arlington Campus student leaders to use for activities and services required for the successful operation of their organization.

Purpose of the SORC
The Student Organization Resource Center is a resource center provided by University Life Arlington for all recognized student organizations and formal working groups to use for activities and services required for the successful operation of their organization.

Use of the SORC
The equipment, furniture, and materials provided in the SORC are intended for use by all Arlington campus student leaders. Please use care while using the equipment and furniture. The SORC contains the following furniture and equipment:

Furniture: Conference table Chairs (8) Couch Lounge chairs (2) Bookshelves (2)

Equipment: Computers (2) Refrigerator Poster Machine Color Printer Black/White Printer Helium Tank Stapler Scissors

Materials: Poster Paper Foam Boards Spray Adhesive Push Pins Butcher Block Paper Markers Paper (White & Colored) Construction Paper

Access to the SORC
The SORC is available for use between the hours of 11am and 6pm Monday through Thursday. Groups requesting access to the SORC outside of regular office hours must obtain special permission from a University Life Arlington staff member and must ensure that a staff member will be present during the time of use. To reserve the SORC for approved student leadership purposes, visit the Student Organization Resource Center (SORC) Room Reservation Form.

The SORC is a community workplace; therefore, personal items should not be kept in the space. Student leaders wishing to store items in the SORC must request permission from a University Life Arlington staff member. Requests will be approved on a case-by-case basis.
